Iceland- the land of truely awing raw nature.
I had the pleasure of visiting Iceland twice, once during their spring season in 2015 and then again during winter of 2018. The juxtaposition between both seasons was surreal. Trip one consisted of exploring Reykjavík, enjoying the long days, midnight sunsets and sunrises, and hiking until 10pm! Trip two? Much more road closures, snow, ice, and darkness. Aka the perfect recipe for astonishing glacier tongues, ice cave explorations with rich blues, and prime conditions to see the highly sought after Northern Lights.
Areas explored: Reykjavik and the Ring Road incuding Gulfoss, Kerio, Gjain, Skogarfoss, Seljalandsfoss, , Reynisfjara, Dettifoss, Selfoss, Viti, Hofn, Snæfellsjökull, Thingvellir, and more.
